Purpose of the EP

Masters training in the field of Russian philology, with deep subject knowledge in linguistics, literary criticism and philological education, observing professional values and professional ethics, to solve professional problems in scientific and pedagogical activities.

Learning outcomes

LО 1. To navigate the main worldview and methodological problems of theoretical, applied and comparative linguistics, literary criticism and philological education through the comprehension and application of philosophical and transdisciplinary knowledge in their historical development and socio-cultural context.

LО 2to use a foreign language for successful oral and written interaction in academic, scientific and professional activities in the context of intercultural dialogue.

LО 3. Organize teamwork with colleagues and students in the process of scientific and pedagogical activities, effectively mentoring, developing their research skills, taking into account the psychological characteristics of managerial activities, the laws of successful speech communication and rhetoric when managing.

LО 4. Design and implement their scientific and pedagogical activities at the university in the study and teaching of the Russian language and literature, including Russian as a foreign language, effectively using innovative educational and digital technologies, manage risks in education and upbringing.

LО 5.To work on a scientific project at all phases of its development, demonstrating the skills of working with information (search, analysis, systematization, etc.), as well as the skills of forecasting and generating new ideas, applying methodological techniques of philological research and based on knowledge of the modern scientific paradigm of linguistics and literary studies.

LО 6.Possess theoretical knowledge and a wide range of methods and techniques of philological work with text, including media texts, correctly analyzing and interpreting them depending on the tasks of professional activity (linguistic expertise, discursive, intertextual, hermeneutic, system analysis).

LО 7.Apply a wide range of communicative strategies and tactics, rhetorical and stylistic techniques, demonstrating the culture of thinking and the technique of speech, when solving research, practical and managerial tasks in professional activity.

LО 8.Possess the skills of independent language research in the system description and functioning, its active processes and development trends, speech, intercultural and Internet communication with the use of modern methods and techniques and presentation of reasoned conclusions.
