GOALS AND OBJECTIVES:
The aim of the French Center of Shymkent is the spread of the French language in the Republic of Kazakhstan, the union of all who wish to promote French language and culture, and more broadly, to facilitate cultural dialogue between Kazakhstan and France by organizing linguistic, scientific, cultural and other kinds of exchanges, conducive to rapprochement between the two countries
ACTIVITIES:
- The organization of French language courses and issue certificates of French (Tests and diplomas in the knowledge of the French language);
- The organization of kazakh and russian languages courses (in perspective)
- Methodological assistance to teachers of Kazakhstan schools through seminars and teaching internships;
- Distribution of materials relating to the French and Francophone culture (printed, audiovisual and other) by the relevant structures (libraries, information centers, media library, movie theaters, exhibition and concert halls)
- The organization of French and Franco-of Kazakhstan cultural events (concerts, performances, festivals, exhibitions, conferences, seminars), as well as non-commercial activities to self-promotion (round tables, debates, film clubs, thematic meetings)
- Information on education programs and linguistic trips to France;
- Translations from / into French, Kazakh and Russian languages. ( in perspective)
- The organization of excursions, tourist and linguistic trips to France and Francophonie countries in Kazakhstan; ( in perspective)
- Cooperation with similar organizations in Kazakhstan, France and other countries;
- Publication and distribution of information leaflets and other printed materials to promote the objectives SFA;
Regular activities:
- In the second and fourth Saturday a roundtable discussions with various themes.
- Every Wednesday at 15:00 and Thursday at 11:00 am Conversation Club with a native speakers.
- On Wednesdays, the club conducts Ms. Joelle Morin,
