COOPERATION BETWEEN AUEZOV UNIVERSITY AND MILITARY UNIT 6506 STRENGTHENING
A memorandum of cooperation was signed between M. Auezov South Kazakhstan University and the 6506th military unit of the National Guard of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Within the framework of the agreement initiated by the Military Prosecutor's Office of the Shymkent garrison, patriotic education, military patriotic events, and educational work with personnel will be carried out jointly in the future.
In addition, during the meeting, topical issues arising in the military sphere were discussed with scientists. The parties proposed to conduct scientific research and consider specific solutions to the problems of gambling, drug addiction, and suicide among young people, which are of concern to society.
The university's vice-rector for scientific work and innovations, U. Suleimenov, noted that there are opportunities to study issues through specific scientific projects, while the vice-rector for social and educational work, G. Besbayev, noted that the department of "General Pedagogy and Psychology" at the university is one of the leading departments that trains specialists in psychological scientific areas and that a psychological support center operates.
