An event dedicated to the 35th anniversary of the withdrawal of Soviet troops from Afghanistan was held in Abay Park. The event was attended by veterans of the Afghan war, their relatives, residents of the city, who remembered the heroic victims with a minute of silence and laid flowers at the monument.
Senior Lecturer of the training Military Department named after M. Auezov, veteran of the Afghan war, Reserve Lieutenant Colonel Raimberdiev Kidirali Tangirberdievich was honored during the meeting.
