Ernar Imangalievich Imangaliyev was born in 1976 in the Kirov district of the Taldykorgan region on the Kuibyshev collective farm. He graduated from the Al-Farabi Kazakh State University.

He began his career in 1999 as an assistant in the Department of Differential Equations and Mathematical Physics of the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics of the Al -Farabi Kazakh National University.

2000-2010 – Assistant, Lecturer, Senior Lecturer, Associate Professor of the Department of Differential Equations and Mathematical Physics of the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics, Al-Farabi Kazakh National University

2010-2011 – Deputy Director of the Research Institute of Mathematics and Mechanics of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University

2011-2013 – Deputy Dean for Academic, Methodological and Educational Work of the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics, Al-Farabi Kazakh National University

2013-2014 – Deputy Director of the Research Institute of Mathematics and Mechanics of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University

2014-2015 – Director of the Research Institute of Mathematics and Mechanics of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University
