On December 30, 2025, the King Sejong Institute held an official ceremony to mark the conclusion of the autumn semester of Korean language instruction.

The event was attended by participants of the Korean language programs, including students of the university as well as residents of Shymkent demonstrating a consistent interest in the Korean language and the culture of the Republic of Korea.

As part of the ceremony, the academic outcomes of the semester were reviewed. More than 60 participants who successfully completed the beginner and intermediate level programs were awarded certificates of completion.

The Korean instructors emphasized the learners’ strong motivation, their active engagement in the educational process, and their keen interest in both the Korean language and Korean culture.

The ceremony was conducted in a formal and celebratory atmosphere and constituted a notable event in the university’s academic calendar, reaffirming the role of the King Sejong Institute in advancing international cultural and educational cooperation.
