Sultan Beybarys is a person in the world of the Turks

This year marks 800 years since the Mamluk Sultan of Egypt and Syria from the Bahrit dynasty, Sultan Beybarys, who was born in the Desht-i-Kipchak steppes, ruled Egypt with his courage and intelligence, but was sold into slavery during military campaigns. In order for our generation not to forget about our great ancestors, a historical and educational event entitled "Sultan Beybarys - a person in the world of the Turks" was held in the Pushkin City Library of Shymkent. Students of the Pre - University Training Center named after M. Auezov received more in-depth information about the life and exploits of our brave and wise Beybarys Sultan from the presentations of speakers and theatrical performances presented at the event. It was especially touching and impressive that Beybarys Sultan, being in a foreign land, longing for his native country and native land, at least a little suppressed his longing, inhaling the smell of wormwood of his native land.
