A Meeting with Students of the Moscow Art and Industry Institute Was Held as Part of the International Conference

Within the framework of the 4th International Scientific Conference, 'For the Sustainable Development of Civilisation: Cooperation, Science, Education, Technology. CIS Countries' Path to 17 SDGs: Integrated Approach”, Sadybek Beisenbayev, a Member of the Board and Vice-Rector for Public Relations and Culture at the M. Auezov South Kazakhstan Research University, paid a special visit to the Moscow Art and Industry Institute (MAII) from 19 to 23 November. During his visit, he learned about the institute's activities and held a meeting with students.
As part of the conference, a section meeting on "Fashion, Design, and Art as Tools for Building a Just World" was organized by the Peoples' Friendship University of Russia named after Patrice Lumumba, together with MAII.
Sadybek Beisenbayev met with students from the institute, along with the Vice-Rector for Research and Head of the Department of Humanities and Socio-Economic Disciplines, a Doctor of Philosophy and Associate Professor, Tatyana Chikayeva. During the meeting, the students asked questions about the higher education system in Kazakhstan and the career prospects for design graduates, and took part in an open discussion.
The Vice-Rector for Project and Creative Work and Head of the Department of Media and Design, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences and Professor, Olesya Pustozerova and the Head of the Department of Costume Design, Candidate of Technical Sciences and Associate Professor, Denis Yeremkin introduced the guest to the academic process, educational programmes, specialised classrooms, workshops and students' creative works.
In turn, Sadybek Beisenbayev shared his thoughts on developing and improving design-related academic programmes.
At the end of the visit, the Moscow Art and Industry Institute's leadership proposed considering the possibility of signing a cooperation agreement with the M. Auezov South Kazakhstan Research University.
