Auezov South Kazakhstan University Signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Tallinn University

On November 17, 2025, at Nazarbayev University, within the framework of the visit of the President of Estonia, Alar Karis, the Kazakhstan–Estonia Rectors’ Forum was held. During the event, Auezov South Kazakhstan University expanded its international cooperation by signing a Memorandum of Understanding with Tallinn University.
The document was signed by the Rector of Auezov South Kazakhstan University, Darkhan Akhmed-Zaki, and the Rector of Tallinn University, Professor Tõnu Viik. The parties agreed to strengthen collaboration in the fields of education, science, innovation, and digitalization. The Memorandum provides for academic exchange of faculty and students, joint scientific research and academic events, training of highly qualified specialists, exchange of scientific and educational materials, as well as joint work on grant projects and initiatives.
The signing of the Memorandum marked an important step in expanding international partnership and opened new opportunities for the development of educational and scientific projects between the universities of Kazakhstan and Estonia.
