Auezov South Kazakhstan University has officially began accepting applications for the 2025–26 academic year. The university's Rector and Chairman of the board, Darkhan Ahmed-Zaki, wished the admissions committee a productive and successful campaign.

The first applicants to submit their documents were Estrela Zharkynbekovna and her mother, who had travelled from Portugal. After registering in advance through the electronic system, they completed the application process without any issues.

“My parents live in Portugal. When choosing a university in Kazakhstan, I opted for M. Auezov South Kazakhstan University in Shymkent and applied for the 'International Relations and International Law' programme," Estrela said.
