On September 30, 2024, a delegation from the University of Minnesota, one of the leading universities in the United States, arrived at Auezov University. The delegation includes Dr. Bhaskar Upadhyay Dahal, Director of the Postgraduate Education Office in the Department of Organizational Leadership, Policy, and Development at the College of Education and Human Resources Development, and Dr. Christopher J. Johnstone, an experienced scholar-practitioner in the field of inclusive education and international higher education. Foreign specialists are holding special lectures and seminars. The University of Minnesota representatives met with the leadership of Auezov University, where they discussed scientific and educational cooperation, defining key areas of bilateral collaboration. During the meeting, the foreign delegation was introduced to the work and achievements of the university's research institutes and centers. 

As part of the visit, the University of Minnesota researchers are conducting scientific workshops and open lectures for students and faculty of the departments of physics, informatics, modern languages, and translation studies at Auezov University from September 30 to October 4.
