On March 17, 2016 at M.Auezov South Kazakhstan State University was held a training seminar by the Department of Academic Affairs with the participation of assistant professorof Nazarbayev University Graduate School of Education Nettie Boivin on the theme “CLIL - Issue and application in a trilingual context” for teachers leading their subjects in English.

The seminar-training was attended by about 45 teaching staff from 9 faculties of the University, where organized training in English language. The training seminar was held in English with students of English groups.

During the seminar-training have been studied the definition of CLIL – content and language integrated learning, the history of the acronym CLIL, tests knowledge about content teaching in a target language; learning, thinking and language skills which are developed across different curriculum subjects.

Actively discussed alesson planning and the understanding of activities and resources needed, knowledge of lesson delivery and theirs assessment.
At the end of the seminar-training she gave the presentation about NUGSE academic programs and admissions process  for students and teachers of the University
