Education as an important factor of economic growth

April 5, 2016 the JSC "Economic Research Institute" of the Ministry of National Economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, akimat of South Kazakhstan region and South Kazakhstan State University im.M.Auezova was held a seminar-workshop on "Education as an important factor of economic growth" for representatives scientific organizations, universities, the business community, experts, non-governmental organizations, central and local executive bodies concerned with the development of education and the formation of educational policy.
The main objective of the seminar-meeting was to discuss the prospects and development opportunities in the field of education and domestic science, the development of recommendations for further development.
The seminar-meeting was attended by Head of the International Research Center for Strategic Studies and Research Competitiveness of JSC "Economic Research Institute" NEM RK Utebayev Altyngul Bolatovna; Deputy Director of the Strategic Planning and Coordination MES Kukambaeva Janata Kireevna; Deputy Director of the Department for Education Statistics of JSC "Information-Analytical Center" MES Atanaeva Kazhmuhambetovna the world and professors prpepodavatelsky composition UKGU im.M.Auezova, the staff of the regional Department of Education, college deputy directors on educational work of Shymkent and others.
The seminar discussed the key issues on the themes: Kazakhstan Education in the Global Competitiveness Index of the World Economic Forum, "Plan nation-way to the modernization of Kazakhstan's education", Kazakh education in international rankings, the development of regional universities, etc.
As part of the seminar-meeting held discussions on HYIP education and science of Kazakhstan, discussed the key issues identified on the basis of statements of speakers and develop recommendations on them.
At the end of the seminar-meeting made recommendations and suggestions to improve the competitiveness of the national education system, further innovative development in the transformation of the global economy and sent to the Government for consideration.
