- citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan under the age of 40 who have a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree or equivalent to it;

- fluent in English;

- having at least 2 publications in international peer-reviewed publications included in the bibliometric database of Web of Science (including at least 1 publication - the first and second quartiles) or Scopus (percentile not lower than 35) over the past 3 years, as well as experience in participating in scientific activities, the implementation of scientific programs of grant, software and targeted financing, conducting contractual and initiative research.

To participate in the competition, applicants submit the following documents:

- application addressed to the Chairman of the Board-Rector;

- a copy of the identity card;

- a copy of the doctor's PhD diploma;

- list of scientific papers;

- information about participation in research works, projects and programs (if available);

- information about the author from the Scopus database and/or a citation report from the database of the information company Clarivate Analytics (Web of Science Core Collection). Information about the author and the citation report should contain the following information: the number of publications, the h-index, the total number of citations;

- copies of patents, copyright certificates;

- plan-justification of the applicant's scientific interests and the goals of admission to postdoctoral studies (personal statement).
