On January 28, 2020, an "open door Day" for graduates of schools and colleges in Shymkent was held at the Higher school of "Natural Sciences and pedagogy" of the South Kazakhstan state University named after M. Auezov. Specialists of the University's career  Department, the teaching staff of the Higher school, employers and parents of students gave recommendations to applicants on the choice of specialties. Students of the Higher school shared their achievements in the field of science and study.
