On September 24, 2019, an event dedicated to the 28th anniversary of the Independence of Turkmenistan was held at the South Kazakhstan State University named after M. Auezov. The holiday was organized with the support of the Embassy of Turkmenistan in the Republic of Kazakhstan. Independence Day is the main holiday of Turkmenistan, which has a special historical significance, personifies the creative spirit of a wise, talented, hardworking people, and enhances feelings of pride and patriotism in the hearts. Obtaining the status of national independence laid the foundation for the modern history of Turkmenistan.The successfully implemented policy of the President of Turkmenistan, GurbangulyBerdimuhamedov, is based on independence as a modeling principle for building relations on the world stage, a principle formed on deeply historical roots, national specifics of mentality and fundamental principles of the modern world outlook paradigm. It should be noted that during the years of independence, Turkmenistan successfully developed and strengthened friendly relations between Kazakhstan.Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan are brought together by a historical and cultural community that has developed over the centuries. Both countries note the special importance of continuing traditional humanitarian contacts, including through education, science and applied research, culture and creative exchanges.Opening the solemn meeting in honor of the Independence Day of Turkmenistan, the first Vice-rector of SKSU named after M. Auezov, Ph.D. Nurmanbetov K.E heartily congratulated the students and people of fraternal Turkmenistan on this bright holiday. The reports of the representative of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan in Shymkent G. Tulepov and Professor Alibek S. N. were read. The students who entered: O. Bagshyeva, G. Seydiakhmet, A. Khamraev with great pride showed their patriotism, love for the motherland.Students of SKSU named after M. Auezov were awarded with diplomas for educational and scientific achievements.
