New appointment on the basis of meritocracy

A scientist at M. Auezov South Kazakhstan Research University, Candidate of Technical Sciences and Associate Professor Bolysbek Aidarbek has been appointed Director of the Department for student affairs based on the principles of meritocracy.
Bolysbek Aidarbek has more than 20 years of professional experience in higher education, science and management. He began his career as a lecturer and subsequently held various responsible positions in different structural units of the University. Over the years he has served as a lecturer, senior lecturer, Head of the Registrar’s Office, Dean of the Higher School, Head of the Regional Testing Laboratory, and Director of the Student Service Center.
In addition to his academic and teaching activities, he conducts research in the fields of chemical technology, ecology, agriculture and innovative materials. He has authored more than 100 educational manuals, monographs, patents, and research articles.
Bolysbek Aidarbek is a recipient of the “Best University Teacher” title of the Republic of Kazakhstan. He has also completed research internships in Germany, the Czech Republic and Uzbekistan.
In his new position his extensive experience and professional expertise will be focused on protecting students rights and interests, effectively addressing their social and academic needs as well as contributing to the development of the student environment.
