Student life is not limited to education. The Rector emphasized that every suggestion is important and said that supporting students initiatives and creating the necessary conditions for their successful implementation would be given priority.
“Our goal is to create a modern university environment where students can fully realize their potential and receive support for their ideas and initiatives. The activity and dedication of young people always create new opportunities for the development of our university” said Mukhtar Tolegen.
Currently more than 2000 active young people are involved in various activities through 15 student organizations at the university. Auezov students have achieved strong results in debate, student self government, leadership, community engagement, science, culture and sports. In particular, university students won several prizes in the “Best Youth Award” competition organized by the Shymkent City Akimat. Auezov students also took prize-winning places in both the Kazakh and Russian leagues of the “Reading Nation” project.
