On May 21, in celebration of Culture and Art Workers' Day, a meeting was held at the A.S. Pushkin Universal Library with Altynai Batyrkhankyzy Zhunusaliyeva, a specialist in the field of arts, director, and lecturer at the Faculty of Culture and Art at M. Auezov SKU.
During the meeting, Altynai Batyrkhankyzy shared her creative experience and reflected deeply on the role of books, spirituality, theatre and culture in society. She also presented her recently published works as a gift to the library staff.
'The Head of State, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, signing a new law aimed at developing a culture of reading, carries special significance. This is a crucial step for spirituality and the nation's future, as books are the most important factor in shaping national identity. On the one hand, you are honouring professionals on their holiday, and on the other, you have organised an educational event that promotes the value of reading. I am grateful to the library team for organising such a spiritually enriching event," said the artist.
At the end of the event, the audience congratulated culture and art workers on their professional holiday and shared their best wishes.
Culture is the spiritual face of a nation and art reflects the soul of the people. Congratulations to everyone working in this field on their professional holiday!
