As part of the nationwide 'Taza Qazaqstan' ecological initiative, environmental protection measures are being systematically implemented in Shymkent. These include large-scale clean-up campaigns to beautify the city, expand green spaces and raise environmental awareness among residents.

One such event was the 'Taza Qazaqstan' eco-campaign organised by the Al-Farabi District Administration of Shymkent. Students and staff from M. Auezov South Kazakhstan University actively participated in this campaign, making a significant contribution to tree planting and landscaping. This youth-led initiative was a key step towards improving the city's environment.
