Editorial ethics

     The editorial Proceedings of the international conference "Industrial Technology and Engineering" is guided by traditional ethical principles of scientific periodicals and set of principles "Code of Ethics of scientific publications", as defined and approved by the ethics committee of scientific publications (Committee on Publication Ethics - COPE), requiring a compliance with these rules by all participants in the publishing process.

 

     Principles of professional ethics in the activity of the publisher and the editor

     Responsibility for the publication of copyright material has the publisher (M.Auezov South Kazakhstan State University) and the editorial board of the Proceedings that leads to the following fundamental ethical principles.

     The editor takes an impartial decision on the publication on the basis of accuracy, the data submitted and the scientific significance of the work in question.

     The editor may consult with other editors or experts to decide on the publication of the article.

     The editor should evaluate manuscripts intellectual content, regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation, religion, origin, nationality, social status or political affiliation of the authors.

     Business interests or policies shall not affect to the decision for the material publication.

     Unpublished data from submitted manuscripts for consideration should not be used for personal purposes or transferred to third parties without the prior written consent of the author. The information obtained in the course of editing, must remain confidential.

     The editor should not allow to the publication a manuscript, if there are sufficient reasons to consider it as plagiarism.

     Editor and publisher must not leave unanswered the claims relating to the examination of manuscripts or published materials, and in the event of a conflict to take all necessary measures to redress.

 

     Ethical principles in the work of the reviewer

     Reviewer provides scientific expertise copyright materials, and its actions must be impartial in nature, involves the following principles.

     Manuscript received for reviewing should be considered as a confidential document that can not be transmitted for review or discussion to the third parties, who do not have authorities from the publisher.

     Reviewer is obliged to give an objective and reasoned assessment of study results. Personal criticism of the author is not acceptable.

     Unpublished data from manuscripts submitted for consideration should not be used for personal purposes reviewer.

     The reviewer, who has, in his own opinion, sufficient competence to assess the manuscript or can not be objective, for example, in the case of a conflict of interest with the author or organization should inform the editor and ask to exclude him from the process of reviewing this manuscript.

 

     Principles that should guide the author of scientific publications

     The author (or group of authors) realizes that have an initial responsibility for the novelty and reliability of the results of scientific research that suggests the following principles.

     The authors should provide reliable research results. Knowingly false or fraudulent statements unacceptable.

     Authors should ensure that the study results outlined in the submitted manuscript are completely original. Borrowed fragments or statements must be filed with the obligatory indication of the author and the source. Excessive borrowing, as well as in any form of plagiarism is unethical and unacceptable.

     It is necessary to recognize the contribution of all persons, one way or another influenced the course of the study, in particular, the article must be submitted references to works that have value in the study.

     The author does not have to avoid duplication of publications (in the cover letter should indicate that the work is published for the first time). If the individual elements of the manuscript have been published, the author is obliged to refer to the earlier work and to indicate differences between the new works from the previous one.

     Submission of a manuscript to more than one journal at the same time is unethical.

     Co-authors of the article should include all persons who have implemented significant contributions to the study. Indication of persons who are not involved in the study is unacceptable.

     All co-authors must confirm their consent to the publication, or by signing a license agreement, or the manuscript itself.

     Editorial board no liability to third parties for breach of these warranties author.

     If the authors found significant errors or inaccuracies in the article on the stage of the examination or after its publication, it must immediately notify the Editorial Board.

 

     Conflict of interests

     To avoid of violating of Publication Ethics should eliminate conflicts of interests of all parties involved in the process of publishing a manuscript. A conflict of interest occurs when the author, reviewer or a member of the editorial board has financial, academic or personal relationship that may influence their actions. All claims author agrees to settle independently and by own expenses.

     If a situation arises related to the violation of the ethics of publication of any of the parties involved in the editorial and publishing process, require mandatory investigation and a public explanation of conflict of interest.

     If the material contains significant inaccuracies, was published, it must be corrected in a form accessible to readers and indexing systems.
