“Kenep and Kiyal” Exhibition Dedicated to the 60th Anniversary of M. Tanirbergenov

Today, the Zhetiassar Gallery of M. Auezov South Kazakhstan University hosted the exhibition of graduation projects titled "Kenep and Kiyal," featuring works in graphic art, painting, and decorative and applied arts. The exhibition was organised to mark the 60th anniversary of the Dean of the Faculty of Culture and Arts, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor and Academician of the Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Kazakhstan, as well as a member of the Union of Designers of Kazakhstan, Medeubek Zhumatayevich Tanirbergenov.
The exhibition was attended by prominent artists and art scholars, faculty members, and students. The Vice-Rector for Public Relations and Culture, Sadybek Beisenbayev, delivered the welcome address, congratulating the honoree on his 60th anniversary and recognising his significant contributions to science, art and education.
Congratulatory speeches were also delivered by distinguished guests – professors from Astana International University: Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences Kairtai Amirgazin and Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor of Art Studies, member of the Union of Artists and the Union of Designers of the Republic of Kazakhstan Baimurat Ospanov; Professor of Shakarim University, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Academician of the Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Kazakhstan, member of the Union of Artists of the Republic of Kazakhstan Madvakas Myrzakanov; Professor of E. A. Buketov Karaganda National University, member of the Union of Designers of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Eurasian Designers’ Union Seifolla Bodikov; Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor of Zhetysu University named after I. Zhansugurov Nuraly Adamkulov; as well as member of the Union of Artists of the Republic of Kazakhstan Bakyt Akhmetov. They expressed their best wishes to the jubilarian and highly valued his contribution to the promotion of national art and education.
The faculty members then congratulated the jubilarian, creating a festive atmosphere with heartfelt wishes, musical performances and poetic recitations.
At the end of the event, guests viewed the creative works of the graduates presented at the exhibition and attended the performance “My Name Is Kozha”, staged by the “Duman” Theatre.
