Auezov University strengthens integration of science, education and industry

The statement by the Head of State in his Address to the People of Kazakhstan that “The main driving force of the modern era lies in knowledge, science and advanced innovations” sets new priorities for the higher education system. In this regard, Mukhtar Auezov South Kazakhstan Research University prioritizes improving the quality of education, enhancing dual education, integrating applied research with industry and expanding cooperation with business representatives.

As part of the objectives outlined in the President’s Address, including the development of the regional economy and aligning education and applied science with industry needs, two new training classrooms have been opened at the university with the support of partner companies.
In particular, the Electrical Power Engineering classroom was commissioned with the sponsorship of Alageum Electric. It is designed to strengthen the practical training of future power engineers. Here, students can study the structure and operating principles of equipment used by energy enterprises and reinforce their theoretical knowledge through hands-on practice. In addition, a second training classroom equipped with modern electrical engineering equipment supplied by CHINT has been opened. In this classroom, students will learn to work with technologies used in industrial production and develop their professional competencies. This will enable them to acquire practical skills that are in demand in the labour market.
At the opening ceremony of the new training classrooms, Mukhtar Tolegen Chairman of the Board - Rector of the university, emphasized the importance of strengthening ties between higher education, science and industry.

"Future professionals must understand production processes, be proficient in digital technologies and be capable of solving real-world industrial challenges. Every initiative in this area is an important investment in the future of the country" the Rector noted.
