Scientist-chemist appointed vice-rector for research and innovation

Khaidar Tasibekov has been appointed Member of the Board and Vice-Rector for Research and Innovation at Mukhtar Auezov South Kazakhstan Research University.
Khaidar Tasibekov is a Candidate of Chemical Sciences, Associate Professor and Academician of the Kazakhstan National Academy of Natural Sciences and the National Engineering Academy of the Republic of Kazakhstan. He has extensive experience in scientific research and higher education. His total professional experience spans 25 years, including more than 15 years in leadership positions.
He graduated from the Faculty of Chemistry at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University with a degree in Basic Processes of Chemical Production and Chemical Cybernetics. He subsequently earned the degree of Candidate of Chemical Sciences.
Throughout his career he has held various positions, progressing from lecturer to professor, Head of Department, Dean of the Faculty, Director of the Department of Science and Innovation, Vice-Rector for Scientific and Innovative Activities, Member of the Board and Vice-President of JSC National Center for State Scientific and Technical Expertise, and Chairman of the Board and Director General of JSC A. Bekturov Institute of Chemical Sciences.
The scientist’s research covers analytical and colloid chemistry, the chemistry and technology of rare elements, chemical analysis methods and innovative research.
Khaidar Tasibekov is the author of more than 120 scientific publications, two textbooks, two methodological manuals and one monograph. His scientific works have been published in national and international journals. He also makes a significant contribution to the advancement of scientific research, the enhancement of scientific capacity and the expansion of international scientific cooperation.
He has received various awards for his contribution to the development of science and has established a strong reputation within the scientific community.
