Seminars on preparing articles for Q1-Q2 journals have begun

A series of seminars on publishing research articles in high ranking international journals has begun at Mukhtar Auezov South Kazakhstan Research University.
The first sesian was organized by the University’s Department of Publication Activity. The session was attended by invited professors from University Putra Malaysia, Associate Professor Rosnita Binti A. Talib and Associate Professor Farah Salina Binti Taip. The meeting covered the requirements for preparing research articles for Q1-Q2 journals the specific features of international publications, the peer-review process, ways to respond to reviewers comments and approaches to improving manuscripts.
The speakers also addressed the opportunities and limitations of using artificial intelligence tools in preparing and editing academic texts. The importance of complying with academic integrity requirements was also discussed.
The event was attended by university faculty members, researchers, young scholars and doctoral students. They asked questions about preparing research manuscripts, selecting journals and using artificial intelligence tools and received detailed answers from the speakers.
Importantly this was the first session in a series of seminars scheduled for September-October 2026. Upcoming sessions will cover academic writing, publication ethics, systematic literature reviews, presentation of research findings, manuscript submission to journals and the promotion of research publications.
