Auezov university concludes the work of the admissions committee and honored the best

The admissions process for the 2026-2027 academic year has been completed at M. Auezov South Kazakhstan Research University.
This year during the admission period, members of the Admission Committee worked hard for several months. They provided advice to applicants and parents, accepted and reviewed documents and applications and carried out information and guidance work. During this important period specialists from various university departments also carried out their duties responsibly and contributed to ensuring a smooth admission process.
As a result a total of 5876 applicants were admitted to the university across three levels of education. Of these 2068 students were admitted to bachelor’s programmes, 189 to master’s programmes and 108 to doctoral programmes on the basis of state educational grants.
A total of 68 employees who actively contributed to the successful admission process received Letters of Appreciation and bonuses. In addition special Letters of Appreciation were presented to 5 teaching staff members and 2 Media Centre specialists who slowed a high level of commitment and responsibility in carrying out their duties.
This award is especially meaningful to the Admissions Committee members. According to them, this is the first time in 15 years that they have received such a substantial bonus for their work. The committee members viewed this step as recognition of their work and a clear sign of support from the university.
The admission process was not limited to document processing. The specialists provided applicants with detailed information about educational programmes, study opportunities and the conditions for studying on the basis of state grants while also answering their questions. In carrying out this important work, the responsibility, professional knowledge and teamwork of each specialist played an important role.
Recognising employees’work and providing financial incentives are important ways to support the university team’s efforts towards a common goal. This year’s admission results showed the effectiveness of coordinated work across all university departments.
