A meaningful initiative was put forward at a meeting of the Academic Council of M. Auezov South Kazakhstan Research University.
During the meeting the Academic Council considered a proposal to name the university’s television studio after Baidulla Konysbek a well known journalist, writer and public figure who has made a significant contribution to the spiritual and cultural life of the region. The proposal received unanimous support from the members of the Academic Council.
Baidulla Konysbek’s outstanding contribution to television and his civic spirit serve as an example for younger generations. Naming the university’s television studio after this prominent journalist is not only a tribute to his work, but also an important step towards promoting journalism and the art of the written word, national spirit and cultural values.
Sherekhan Murtaza, a prominent representative of national journalism, once said: “What a journalist carries is gold, and what a journalist eats is thorny grass”. Through such meaningful initiatives, the university continues its work to honour individuals who have left their mark on history and to promote their professional and creative legacy among the younger generation.
