«My profession – my future»: methodological seminar concludes

The two day methodological seminar organized at M.Auezov South Kazakhstan University as part of the «My Profession –My Future» program has concluded.
The second day of the seminar focused on practical sessions which brought together industry experts, representatives of the Department of Education, employers and faculty members from universities and colleges.
Marina Skiba Head of the Office of the «My Profession – My Future» program, presented an algorithm for developing educational solutions based on the regional map of personnel needs and outlined the key steps in this process.
During the practical sessions, participants identified the competencies required for emerging and transforming professions and identified gaps in labor market requirements. They also discussed ways to introduce micro qualifications, Minor programs and new modules into educational programs.
At the end sessions the groups presented their work and shared their proposals for developing regional portfolio of educational solutions for the city of Shymkent. The participants also discussed the development of a 2026-2028 Roadmap aimed at implementing the results of the regional map of personnel needs.
In the final part of the seminar Marina Skiba highlighted Auezov University’s contribution to developing the regional map of personnel needs and expressed her gratitude to the university administration for supporting the successful organization of the seminar.
At the end of the event all participants were presented with special certificates.
