- Hits: 10
A young scientist of M. Auezov South Kazakhstan Research University and head of the laboratory of the Department of “Life safety and Environmental Protection”, Amiraliyev Baurzhan, has received grant funding for the project AP32515199 “Development and Study of properties of CO₂ Redused composite cements” as a result of the “Young Scientist” grant funding competition the Ministry of Science and higher Education of the Republic Kazakhstan for 2026-2028. The main goal of the project is to develop the composition, properties and production technology of composite cements that can reduce carbon dioxide emissions.
During the research:
-the properties of materials that can be used as active mineral addivities are studied.
-the optimal composition of the raw materials and the hydration processes of the cement are determined.
-ways to reduce the amount of clinker in cement are considered.
-the goal is to reduce electricity consumption during cement grinding and increase the productivity of the mills.
-technological solutions for the envorimentally efficient and sustainable production of cement are being developed.
The project’s results are aimed at increasing the envorimental efficiency of building material production, reducing CO₂ emissions in cement production, and contributing to the sustainable development of the domestic construction industry.
We wish Baurzhan Amiraliyev success, new achievements and high results in his scientific research.
