An exhibition titled Philosophical Reflection by Anuarbek Aidosov, a member of the Union of Artists of the USSR and the Republic of Kazakhstan, a Honoured Worker of Culture of the Republic of Kazakhstan, a corresponding member of the Academy of Artists of the Republic of Kazakhstan and a professor in the Department of Fine Arts and Design, was held at M. Auezov SKU.

The exhibition was organised in honour of the artist's 70th anniversary and was attended by prominent artists, contemporaries, students and university faculty.

During the event, Sadybek Beisenbayev, Vice-Rector for Public Relations and Culture, highlighted the anniversary honouree's creative and pedagogical achievements and conveyed congratulations from Darkhan Ahmed-Zaki, Chairman of the Board and Rector of the University. Throughout the evening, the artist's life journey, creative work, and contributions to the development of the fine arts were recognised.

Anuarbek Aidosov is a renowned painter not only in Kazakhstan, but internationally too. His works are preserved in the A. Kasteyev State Museum of Arts and the National Museum in Astana, as well as in art museums in Atyrau, Pavlodar and Shymkent. The artist's work is also held in the Russian House of Culture, in private collections in the USA, Seoul and Hamburg, and in the collection of the Museum of Arts of Uzbekistan in Tashkent.

As a distinguished teacher, he has mentored many talented students, paving the way for their successful careers in art and pedagogy. Anuarbek Aidosov is also the author of several teaching methodology guides and one textbook.
