Winners of the "Zhas Galym - 2026" Internal University Competition Announced

On 17 June 2026, M. Auezov South Kazakhstan University hosted a meeting of the competition commission for the 'Zhas Galym' internal university contest, with the aim of funding scientific and/or scientific-technical projects. The competition aims to support and finance the research work of the university's young scientists. The commission reviewed applications submitted across several priority scientific areas and selected projects for subsequent funding.
The competition commission recommended the following scientific projects for funding:
- Elmira Abdullaevna Tursynkulova – “Methodology for preparing future mathematics teachers to teach constructive geometry based on digital technologies” – 3,000,000 tenge;
- Nurzhan Ongarovich Nurkhodzhaev – “Study of the epizootic situation of domestic birds (chickens) in the city of Shymkent and adjacent territories” – 3,000,000 tenge;
- Sultan Temirbekuly Auesbek (PhD) – “Development of technology for producing finely ground cement based on phosphorus slag with modifying additives” – 3,000,000 tenge;
- Dinara Baktovna Kalkaeva – “Study of the epizootic situation in the city of Shymkent and development of effective methods for diagnosing and preventing bovine pyroplasmosis” – 3,000,000 tenge.
- Musa Talgatuly Kuttybai, PhD – “Creation of technology for producing silicate bricks based on raw materials with carbonate additives” –3,000,000 tenge;
- Shyngyskan Ergalievich Duisebaev – “Technology of condensed camel milk enriched with plant extract” – 3,000,000 tenge;
- Gulnur Myktybekovna Kaldybekova – “Study and identification of probiotic lactic acid bacteria isolated from sauerkraut and development of a stable biopreparation using microencapsulation” –3,000,000 tenge;
- Kalamkas Zhumabekovna Tleuova –"Development of a new generation functional probiotic yoghurt enriched with plant extract" – 3,000,000 tenge.
