M. Auezov University and the Public Service Agency signed a memorandum

Auezov South Kazakhstan University and the Department of the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Public Service Affairs for the City of Shymkent have signed a memorandum of cooperation in the field of establishing an anti-corruption culture.
The event was attended by the leadership of both parties, as well as employees of the Anti-Corruption Department and the Faculty of Law.
The First Vice-Rector of the university, Kurmangaly Sarykulov, noted that anti-corruption work is conducted at the university on a systematic basis, and emphasised that signing the memorandum would significantly increase the effectiveness of the measures taken in this regard.
The memorandum's main goal is to strengthen joint efforts in forming an anti-corruption culture, promoting academic integrity standards, and preventing offences.
As part of the agreement, it is planned to improve the content of the "Fundamentals of Anti-Corruption Culture" discipline, provide methodological support in training compliance specialists, promote academic integrity, conduct awareness-raising work among young people, and organise joint meetings and guest lectures.
At the end of the meeting, the participants discussed relevant changes and additions to anti-corruption legislation and voiced a number of practical proposals.
