Auezov University student wins silver at the Asian Championship!

From 13 to 19 July 2026, Almaty hosted the Asian Jiu-Jitsu Championship for men and women.
In this major competition, Otepbergen Mirzabekov, a student of group St-23-3k8 at M. Auezov South Kazakhstan University, delivered an exceptional performance and won a silver medal.The continental tournament brought together top athletes from 27 countries for fierce and competitive bouts. The Kazakhstan national team represented the country with honour on the international stage, securing top positions.
