Doctoral students exchanged experience with foreign scientists

On June 12, 2026, a meeting was held with the participation of doctoral students of M. Auezov South Kazakhstan University, Tony Zhu, Deputy Director of the International Department of the Center for International Exchange and Services, and David Janas, Professor at Silesian University of Technology, Vice Dean for Science and Cooperation, and Head of the Functional Nanomaterials Research Group.
During the meeting, participants discussed ways to enhance publication activity in internationally indexed journals, the requirements for preparing high-quality scientific manuscripts, the development of international scientific cooperation, and opportunities for improving the publication process.
The participants emphasized the importance of conducting joint research with the international scientific community and highlighted the need to ensure scientific novelty, practical significance of research results, and compliance with academic writing standards when preparing manuscripts. In addition, factors affecting the lengthy review and publication process were analyzed, and effective approaches to accelerating publication timelines were considered.
As a result of the meeting, the doctoral students gained valuable insights into the requirements for publishing in international scientific journals and received practical recommendations on promoting their research activities within the global scientific community.
