Preserving the independence of the country is an important task. Speaking at a meeting of the Majlis of the Parliament of Kazakhstan, President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev stressed that there is no value more precious than freedom and respect for sovereignty, and for the first time in the history of independence, the people faced a very difficult and dangerous period. He calmly accepted the challenge and called on the people to show that we are a united country.

He also touched upon the important tasks facing the country and informed the public about the urgent measures being taken to provide citizens with housing, education, to prevent shortages of goods and services, unreasonable price increases.

According to the head of state, the main direction of the future will be the formation of a new economic platform of the country, the creation and development of a market economy with a modern social orientation. That is, it is very important to work systematically on the development of entrepreneurship. In this regard, it would not be an exaggeration to say that the signing of the law by the Presidents, which will allow business to grow and prosper, was a long-awaited step.

Independence is our main asset, our priceless wealth. Independence is a happiness that is given only to those who take risks. Therefore, we want our independence to be strong and our country to be strong.
