Tolebay Bekzat Oktayruly (born 07.12.1996) is a graduate of the “Public and Local Administration” program (2014–2018) and currently serves as the Chair of the Shymkent City Branch of the “Zhas Otan” Youth Wing under the AMANAT Party.

The teaching staff of the Department of Management and Marketing underwent advanced training at SCU named after. M. Auezov for 72 hours on the topic: “Digital literacy and online learning methods.”
From January 15 to 27, 2024, the international winter School – 2024 “New trends in the development of management and marketing in modern conditions” was held on the basis of M. Auezov SKU (Department of Management and Marketing).
The Winter School was attended by speakers and listeners from 7 countries (Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Russia, Turkey, Poland, Belarus and Azerbaijan), 19 universities.
At the closing ceremony, speakers and listeners expressed gratitude to the organizer of the winter school, the Department of Management and Marketing of the M. Auezov South State University, the Center for the Bologna Process and Academic Mobility.
The Winter School was attended by speakers and listeners from 7 countries (Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Russia, Turkey, Poland, Belarus and Azerbaijan), 19 universities.

On 20/02/24, the Department of Management and Marketing, together with the Russian University of Education, held a teleconference within the framework of the International Science Festival, on the topic: "Problems of countering security threats in the educational environment."

Within the framework of the AP09261075 project "Formation of a model of a regional food hub as a horizontally integrated structure in order to ensure food security (using the example of the meat cluster of the Turkestan region)" under contract No. 219-4 dated April 15, 2021, the research group Professor Kulanova D.A. and PhD Esbolova A.E. completed a scientific internship at the Technical University of Darmstadt. Period: 18-22.09.2023 During this period, the researchers established cooperation in scientific and academic activities.

Students of the educational program 6B04150–State and Local Administration complete their industrial and pre-diploma internships in government institutions, including the Akimat of Abay District of Shymkent, the Akimat of Al-Farabi District, the Akimat of Turan District of Shymkent, as well as in rural districts.
This internship contributes to the development of managerial competencies, enhances public service skills, and provides an understanding of the functioning mechanisms of local government bodies.

8.Academic mobility
On February 16-17, 2023, D.A. Kulanova visited Tashkent State Technical University (Almalyk branch) at the invitation of the university administration. Guest lectures for 12 hours were organized. Previously, the issues of mobility of teaching staff and students between our universities were discussed. Development and release of educational and methodological material, joint writing of articles in the journals of the Scopus and KOKSNVO databases.
Professor of the Department of Management and Marketing Kulanova D.A., completed a scientific internship from November 22-28, 2021 at the Polytechnic University of Valencia, Spain. There were meetings with professors of the Department of Engineering Economics of the Faculty of Economics and Business, with Professors Elena de la Posa, Navidad Omeda and other members of the department. This Askarbekovna gave lectures on the discipline "Strategic Management" for students of the direction of training "Economics".
Since January 15, 2024, on the basis of the Department of Management and Marketing, advanced training (internal mobility) of the teaching staff of the Department of Corporate Governance of the Tashkent State University of Economics has been taking place.

Faculty members of our department — Dana Askarbekovna and Zhamilya Shafkhatovna — participated in the 10th International Student Scientific Conference titled “World Economy in the 21st Century: Globalization and Regionalization,” held at RUDN University in Moscow.
In addition, they delivered open lectures and conducted master classes for students majoring in Management, sharing valuable experience in international marketing and cooperation within the framework of the EAEU.

Naribek Bagdaulet Kudaibergenovich is a lecturer at the Department of Management and Marketing, a researcher, and a young scientist pursuing a PhD. Currently, within the framework of academic mobility, including the Erasmus+ program, he is conducting a three-month doctoral research project in Granada, Spain, from March 16 to June 15 of the 2025–2026 academic year.
His research focuses on studying the impact of digitalization on agriculture, improving its institutional structure, conducting a comparative analysis of the digitalization of Spain’s agricultural sector, and exploring ways and mechanisms to adapt advanced practices to the conditions of agriculture in Kazakhstan, including the Turkestan region.
At present, he is enrolled in a doctoral program in Economics at M. Auezov South Kazakhstan University. In addition, he works part-time as a lecturer at the Department of Management and Marketing.
