"Defenders of the Fatherland, heroes of valor; the path to victory is an example for generations": Auezov University held a celebratory event dedicated to the double holiday
A Day of Honoring Heroism and Patriotism! Today, Auezov South Kazakhstan University held a ceremony dedicated to May 7, Defenders of the Fatherland Day, and May 9, Victory Day.
The ceremony, titled "Defenders of the Fatherland – People Whose Path to Victory Is an Example for a Generation," began with the raising of the national flag and the playing of the national anthem.
During the ceremony, the Chairman of the University Board and Rector Darkhan Akhmed-Zaki delivered a congratulatory speech, noting that these two holidays hold great historical and educational significance for our people. In his speech, he congratulated the university staff on Defenders of the Fatherland Day and Victory Day, noting that the heroism and unwavering spirit of these brave individuals are an eternal example for the current generation.
During the event, several university staff members were awarded for their dedicated work and professional achievements. Letters of gratitude from the Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Sayasat Nurbek, were presented, and the head of the military department, Colonel Zhakyp Kenzhebayev, was awarded the medal "For Impeccable Service." Furthermore, several military department employees received letters of gratitude from the university rector for their work in fostering patriotism in young people.
The evening concert program further enhanced the festive atmosphere. Energetic dancing and patriotic songs on stage clearly intensified the feeling of love for the Motherland. Through their art, the university youth helped people understand the value of peace and rekindled the spirit of Victory.
