Auezov University joins the world Textile university Alliance

On October 17 the Forum of the World Textile University Alliance was held in Shanghai, China, as part of the celebrations marking the 75th anniversary of Donghua University.
During the forum Mukhtar Auezov South Kazakhstan Research University was officially admitted to the Alliance.
The university was represented at the forum by:
-Nazarbek Ulzhalgas - Deputy Vice-Rector for Science and Innovative Activities.
-Makhmudova Gulzhamol - Head of the Department of Technology and Design of Textile Materials.
-Myrkhalykov Zhumakhan - Professor of the Department of Technology and Design of Textile Materials.
What opportunities does membership in the Alliance offer?
-Joint international research projects in nan textiles, smart textiles and sustainable materials.
-Expanded academic mobility opportunities for students and teachers.
-Establishment of joint laboratories with international partners.
-Development of double-degree educational programmes.
