Gulnara Tastanbekova appointed dean of the Faculty of Agriculture

Gulnara Tastanbekova Candidate of Agricultural Sciences, Associate Professor, and Academician of the Kazakh Academy of Agricultural Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan, has been appointed Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture at Mukhtar Auezov South Kazakhstan Research University.
Gulnara Tastanbekova is a highly qualified specialist with extensive experience in agricultural science, research management and higher education.
She began her career as a junior research fellow at the South Kazakhstan Research Institute of Agriculture and later held research and management positions at the Southwestern Agricultural Research and Production Centre.
Over the years she has served as Deputy Director for Research at the Institute of Agro-Industrial Complex at our university, Head of the Office for Commercialisation of Research Developments, Deputy Director General for Research and Managing Director for Science at the Southwestern Research Institute of Livestock and Crop Production.
Gulnara Tastanbekova previously held a leadership position at the Faculty of Agriculture, making a significant contribution to strengthening the faculty’s research capacity, fostering closer links between agricultural education and industry and improving the training of qualified specialists.
