New horizons in teacher education

A methodological seminar was held on the topic "The New Generation Teacher: Digital, Evidence-Based and Inclusive Pedagogy. Mentoring".  The seminar aimed to identify new approaches to the training of modern teachers as part of the implementation of the Concept for the Development of Teacher Education in the RK for 2026-2029, enhance digital and inclusive education practices and improve the effectiveness of teaching practice and mentoring.
The seminar was attended by faculty deans, heads of departments, developers of the 6B01 "Pedagogical Sciences" educational programmes, academic staff and chairs of methodological commissions. The seminar was moderated by Rysgul Kudretullaeva, Member of the Board and Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs.
The speakers at the seminar included Barno Khamitova Head of the Educational and Methodological Center, Zauret Kabylbekova D.Ped.S., Professor,  Zhansulu Sikhembekova Director of Secondary School No. 30 named after "Oraz Zhandosov",  Sandugash Kaldygozova C.H.S., Associate Professor, Negmatzhan Almetov D.Ped.S., Professor and Taslima Aubakirova Director of the Center for Employment and Competencies.
The meeting addressed AI-Driven Pedagogy the use of artificial intelligence in the educational process, the "University 5.0" model, inclusive education, teaching practice and mentoring, the professional competencies of future teachers and employment-related issues.
The seminar explored new approaches to preparing future teachers and put forward relevant proposals aimed at strengthening cooperation between the university and schools.
