Historical heritage – a legacy for future generations

An educational trip was organized for students of the Military Department of Mukhtar Auezov South Kazakhstan University to Zhualy District of Zhambyl Region.
During the trip the students visited the villages of "Bauyrzhan Momyshuly", "Kairat" and "Talapty" where they laid flowers at the monument to Bauyrzhan Momyshuly, Hero of the Soviet Union, People’s Hero of Kazakhstan and renowned military commander.
The Military Department students also visited the Bauyrzhan Momyshuly Memorial Museum and the Literary and Memorial House Museum of Sherkhan Murtaza, a prominent Kazakh writer. There they explored valuable heritage related to the history and spiritual culture of the Kazakh people.
Such educational trips to historical sites contribute significantly to fostering students love for their homeland, strengthening their national spirit and military-patriotic education and developing their historical awareness.
