School-university partnership: students receive career guidance

10th-grade students from the «Bilim-Innovation» Lyceum in Shymkent visited Auezov University on an educational tour.
The main purpose of the visit was to provide students with career guidance and introduce them to the university’s opportunities and the educational programmes offered by the Higher School of Textile and Food Engineering.
During the visit the students toured the Higher School’s classrooms and laboratories, becoming familiar with its facilities and technical resources, educational programmes, as well as its research and social activities.
At the end of the meeting the students asked questions they were interested in and received the information they needed to make informed decisions about their future careers.
Such meetings provide young people with an opportunity to gain a closer insight into university life and make informed decisions about their future career paths.
