The role of higher education in the new constitution was discussed

Today a meeting was held at Mukhtar Auezov South Kazakhstan Research University with the participation of faculty members and students. The meeting was dedicated to explaining the content and key principles of the New Constitution.
The meeting was attended by Gani Besbayev Member of the Board and Vice-Rector for Social and Educational Affairs, Azimkhan Isabek the University Press Secretary and Abai scholar and Ardak Montayev Head of the Department of Political Science and PhD.
During the discussion the speakers provided young people with detailed information about the importance of education and science in the Constitution, the importance of creative and intellectual pursuits as well as the role of quality education in strengthening the potential of society. These ideas are also in harmony with the great Abai’s teaching of "Tolyk Adam" ("Complete Person"). Abai emphasized the harmony of the mind will and heart promoting the formation of a well-rounded person who combines knowledge with morality.
This principle is also highly relevant to today’s education system. A citizen who has mastered modern science, strives for innovation and at the same time understands their responsibility to the country is one of the key values of society.
Auezov University will continue its systematic work aimed at developing students legal culture and scientific thinking, promoting national values and fostering well-rounded individuals who feel responsible for the future of the country.
