A forum aimed at enhancing the legal and financial literacy of students was held at Mukhtar Auezov South Kazakhstan Research University.
The event held from September 21 to 25, was organized by the Department of Economic Investigations for the city of Shymkent. Held under the “Law and Order” principle the forum aimed to protect young people from online fraud, prevent dropper activities and raise awareness of legal responsibility.
During the meeting, specialists explained online safety requirements, precautions to take when conducting financial transactions and ways to identify fraudulent schemes. Particular attention was also paid to the consequences of involvement in dropper activities and the liability предусмотренная for such actions.
Nearly 4000 first year students took part in the five-day event.
