Auezov university participated in the international sustainable development forum

An international event dedicated to sustainable development in higher education was held in Baku. The UI GreenMetric Sustainable University Rankings 2026 Results & Awards Ceremony and the ECO-SYNERGY 2026 conference were held at Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University. The events brought together university leaders, experts, and sustainable development specialists from different countries around the world.
Gulnara Karbozova Member of the Board and Vice-Rector for International Cooperation at Mukhtar Auezov South Kazakhstan Research University, took part in the international event. As part of the conference’s official programme, she spoke as an international speaker and panel expert.
During the forum, participants discussed the development of green campuses, climate responsibility, digital transformation, and the integration of the UN Sustainable Development Goals into the higher education system.
It is worth noting that Mukhtar Auezov South Kazakhstan Research University was among the co-organizers of the international ECO-SYNERGY 2026 conference.
