Paying tribute to the spirit and legacy of Mukhtar Auezov

A flower laying ceremony was held at Auezov South Kazakhstan University at the monument to Mukhtar Auezov the great writer, distinguished scholar and prominent public figure.The commemorative event was opened by Member of the Board and Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Rysgul Kudretullaeva, who highlighted Mukhtar Auezov’s significant contribution to Kazakh literature and national spiritual heritage.
During the event, Akzhol Kalshabek Head of the "Abaytanu and Mukhtartanu" Research Center, Candidate of Philological Sciences and Associate Professor, shared new information about the life and creative career of the great writer and spoke to the audience about the importance of Auezov’s legacy for the younger generation.
The event was attended by the university’s faculty members and students. They laid flowers at the monument to the great writer, paying tribute to the outstanding figure of Kazakh literature.
