- Hits: 17
Honoring one's mother is a fundamental duty. Mother is the source of life and an eternal beacon of love and compassion. In honor of these values, Auezov University hosted a special event "Light of a Mother's Heart,"dedicated to Mother's Day in Kazakhstan.
The evening opened with a performance by the "Qaraqoz" ensemble, whose dance "Qyz Ghumyry" gracefully captured the tenderness, wisdom, and life journey of women. The festive spirit was elevated by soulful songs from the "Razdolye" ensemble and dynamic routines by the Strong Dance Kids dance crew, leaving the audience deeply moved by heartfelt songs dedicated to mothers.
One of the most poignant moments of the event was the presentation of the book "Light of the Mother's Soul," written by Tatyana Tarasenko, Senior Lecturer at the Department of Cultural and Social Work, in memory of her late mother. The book serves as both a personal tribute and a broader homage to maternal love. The ceremonial ribbon was cut by Natalya Shevchenko, recipient of the Presidential "Shapaghat" Medal and the Badge of Honor of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan.
The evening concluded with a memorable concert program. Guests were reminded once again of the boundless gratitude owed to mothers.
