Auezov University Student Wins Medals in the USA

Great news!
Auezov University is proud of every student's achievements in education, science and sports. One such student is Maxim Skazobtsov, a student of group ST-24-3r from the Faculty of Sports and Tourism. He delivered outstanding results at international competitions, significantly raising the university's profile.
From 2 to 15 March 2026, he competed in the Speedo Champions Series ESSZ Spring SC Senior Championship international swimming competition, securing multiple podium finishes:
4x100m medley relay – 1st place
200m butterfly – 2nd place
100m backstroke – 2nd place
100m butterfly – 2nd place
4x200m freestyle relay – 3rd place
He also achieved further success at the Central Zone East Spring Speedo Sectional, held in Indianapolis, Indiana, USA, from 26 to 29 March 2026:
- 100 m Butterfly – 53.49 sec, 2nd place
- 50 m Butterfly – 24.29 sec, 3rd place
- 200 m Butterfly – 2:02.15, 3rd place
