Altynai Batyrkhanqyzy Zhunissaliyeva, senior lecturer in the Department of Art at M. Auezov South Kazakhstan University and theatre director, showed her professional expertise on an international stage at the 5th International Scientific and Practical Forum in Moscow on 24–25 March 2026.

The forum was themed 'Puppet Theatre and Special Education'. Modern Models of Puppet Theatre Language: Innovations and Canonical Educational Forms', brought together representatives of the arts and culture sectors from 22 countries. It was organised with the support of the State Academic Central Puppet Theatre named after S. V. Obraztsov and the Russian State Institute of Performing Arts.

During the forum, Sadybek Beysenbayev, Vice-Rector for Public Relations and Culture at M. Auezov SKU, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Academician, delivered a speech online emphasising the importance of the agenda items.

As part of the program, Altynai Batyrkhanqyzy delivered an insightful presentation titled 'Puppet Theatre in Kazakhstan Today and Its Problems' and led a masterclass titled 'Puppet Theatre: Synthesis of Tradition and Innovation'. Her professional experience and pedagogical methods were highly regarded by the participants, and she was awarded official certificates in recognition of her contributions.

In recognition of active participation and scientific and creative contributions to the international forum, M. Auezov South Kazakhstan University was awarded a special diploma.
