Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Canada to Kazakhstan visits M. Auezov South Kazakhstan University

On 24 April 2026, Christopher Paul Duggan, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Canada to the Republic of Kazakhstan, paid an official visit to M. Auezov South Kazakhstan University.
As part of the visit, he met with Law Faculty students to discuss diplomacy, international law and educational exchanges. The prospects of developing cooperation with Canadian universities, as well as implementing academic mobility and joint educational programmes, were also discussed.
The meeting concluded with a mutual commitment to strengthening and expanding educational and scientific partnerships.
